This 7-day wildlife safari Queen and Semuliki tour gives visitors an extra touch of wildlife in two of Uganda’s spectacular parks. While on this 7-day exclusive Uganda wildlife safari in Uganda, your visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park will render you the best opportunity to enjoy a game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile. As a result, this makes visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and tree-climbing lions, in addition to a two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel.
You will then visit Semuliki National Park, which is home to forest elephants, the rare shoebill stork, and the Sempaya hot springs – which is the most famous attraction in the park. Wildlife Safari Queen Semuliki
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Kampala
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and be transferred by the hotel representative who will then take you to Kampala Serena Hotel (luxury lodge facility), for an overnight stay and dinner. Meal plan: BnB.
Day 2: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth
Our driver-guide picks you up from Kampala at your hotel or place of residence by 7:30 am after your early morning breakfast, and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make your first stopover at the Equator crossing for photography and then continue with the visit to the Igongo Cultural Center in Biharwe, Mbarara, to learn and see the evolution of the Ankole culture.
After lunch at Agip Motel Mbarara, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth as you enjoy beautiful scenery, herds of long-horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations in Ishaka, rift valley escarpment, open grassland, and woodland savanna. You will then get on an evening game drive for sightseeing, which is much more rewarding en route as you drive to your lodge.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Get on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile, which makes visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, kobs, and a variety of bird species. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, an afternoon two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is a worthwhile opportunity to see hippos, buffaloes, kobs, elephants, and warthogs among others. This trip also gives visitors a chance to see spectacular bird species.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Semuliki National Park
Begin your day with a cup of African coffee, ready for a drive to Semuliki National Park north of Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal. You will proceed to Semuliki, which is home to 53 mammals, of which 27 are large mammals. 11 species are endemic to the park, including the pygmy antelopes and two flying squirrel species. It is also home to the peculiar water chevrotain, known as the ‘fanged deer’.

Day 5: Semuliki National Park
The morning after your breakfast is dedicated to a game drive through the grasslands of Semuliki National Park. The park is home to forest elephants and buffaloes, which are smaller versions compared to their savannah-dwelling counterparts.
You will spend the afternoon on a boat ride along Lake Albert for an opportunity for birding. Look out for a variety of bird species, including, the Blue Swallow, White-throated Blue Swallow, Swamp Palm Bulbul, Spotted Greenbul, White-starred Robin, Lowland Akalat, and Red-throated Alethe among others.

Day 6: Shoebill Hunt – Part of Wildlife Safari Queen Semuliki
Get on a morning search for the rare shoebill stork in the wildlife reserve, and then a visit to Sempaya hotsprings. The Sempaya Hot Springs are Semuliki’s most famous attraction. The ‘male’ spring, known as ‘Bintente’, measures 12m in diameter and is set in a lush swampy clearing. The ‘female’ spring ‘Nyasimbi’, meaning ‘the female ancestors’, is a boiling geyser (103°C) that spurts bubbling water and steam up to two meters high. The steam cloud can be seen from as far as 2km away.

Day 7: Kampala – Entebbe Out
Start the day with morning breakfast, relaxation, and sightseeing at your lodge. You can choose to have an early lunch at your lodge before driving back to Kampala and Entebbe at your own convenience. YOu will arrive in the evening and then be transferred to the airport to catch up with your outbound flight back home or to your next destination. Meal plan: B
