    Wildlife Queen Safari Itinerary:

    Day 1: Kampala- Queen Elizabeth

    Our driver-guide picks you up from Kampala at your hotel or place of residence by 7:30 am after your early morning breakfast, and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make your first stopover at the Equator crossing for photography and then continue to Queen Elizabeth as you enjoy beautiful scenery, herds of long-horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations in Ishaka, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland, and woodland savanna.

    You will get on an evening two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel, which is a worthwhile opportunity to see hippos, buffaloes, African elephants, and warthogs among others. This trip also gives visitors a chance to see spectacular bird species.

    Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Part of Wildlife Queen Safari

    Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda kobs, crater lakes, and a variety of bird species. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.

    After lunch, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park for an afternoon guided nature walk around the crater lakes area of the park and an outstanding cultural visit.

    Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale

    In the morning, you will have breakfast and then be transferred to Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search of chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on other animal species, which makes it interesting. The walk will reward you with other primates like grey-cheeked mangabeys, colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L’hoest’s monkeys, and butterflies.

    After tracking the chimps, you will go for another nature walk to the Bigodi swamp, to see unique flora and fauna, in the afternoon.

    Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

    Today is dedicated to the chimpanzee habituation experience. Start the day with an early morning breakfast, and packed lunch before dawn breaks, and then set off into the forest. You’ll meet your guide and then set off to where the chimpanzees built nests the night before. Dawn is just breaking and the chimpanzee community you are going to be with for the rest of the day is rising from their sleep in the nests.

    Your day will be full, your camera will fill up with quality pictures of the chimpanzees. You will get to learn to identify them as individuals by their markings, sometimes scars, and other unique features that make them stand apart from the rest. Besides everything described, there are the most colorful butterflies, plant species, and trees that will amaze you, because the forest setting is simply awesome.

    Day 4: Kibale Forest – Kampala/Entebbe

    After early breakfast, the morning is dedicated to sightseeing and relaxation. Thereafter, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe at your convenience with a stopover for lunch en route. You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
