Jacana Safari Lodge is about 6 hours by road from Kampala or a 45-minute flight from Entebbe Airport. It belongs to the GEO Lodges Group, a group that manages four lodges set in pristine locations across Uganda.

The 7 luxury log chalets and a gorgeous pool offer travelers a great opportunity to relax after their daily activities. Though the lodge is located slightly further from the game circuits, it still provides good access for wildlife safaris and a chimpanzee tracking tour in Kyambura Gorge.

Activities Around the Lodge
Guests can enjoy exploring Lake Nyamusingire and kayaking. A boat cruise on Kazinga channel, where quite a variety of wildlife can be sighted. These include hippos, crocodiles, African elephants, and a variety of bird species.
Guests can be taken on game drives in the Mweya Peninsula, north of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, a variety of other wildlife can be spotted. These include leopards, lions, warthogs, antelopes, and so much more. You can also observe the tree-climbing lions of the national park in the Ishasha sector. Not forgetting that you can also enjoy a forest walk for bird watching and spotting various floras.
Visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park always complement their visit with a gorilla trekking safari in the nearby Bwindi Forest National Park or a chimpanzee trekking expedition in Kibale National Park. Others could opt for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to Murchison Falls.
