Twin Lakes Safari Lodge is a rustic and intimate lodge set in the beautiful surroundings of Bunyaruguru’s great crater field. It is about 270 m above the plains, and a few meters outside Queen Elizabeth National Park. The location gives it a perfect and wonderful view of the sunset, Lakes Edward and George, the park, and the Rwenzori mountains.
The lodge is perched on the edge of the escarpment adjacent to the borders of Queen Elizabeth National Park. So, its exclusive position affords it some of the most spectacular views.

Accommodation at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge
The cottages have been designed with a feel of the contemporary African culture in mind, a perfect blend of design and comfort. These can accommodate up to twenty guests in eight spacious canvas tents under permanent grass-thatched roofs. Each lodging has an en-suite bathroom with a flush toilet, a hot shower and a spacious tub.
Open-length windows with amazing views of the surrounding, palatial rooms dressed in comfortable beds under hanging side lamps. The icing is made complete with an executive workstation, a bathtub, terrace with a chair to relax.
From the private shaded balcony, you get breathtaking views of the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park below. You will also get a perfect view of the golden African sunset over Lake Edward and the mighty Rwenzori mountains, and the Kazinga channel. Enjoy the views of the flat-topped acacia trees where the occasional elephants graze and wander by.

The restaurant serves a choice of international and local cuisine, with a bar offering various kinds of drinks.
The surrounding area also boasts plenty of rare wildlife species, birds, rich culture, and various crater lakes. So, guests can enjoy wildlife game viewing, community walks, forest reserves, cotton and coffee plantations, and traditional dances among others. Also, nearby, is the famous Kyambura river gorge, home to habituated chimpanzees.
Visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park always complement their visit with a gorilla trekking safari in the nearby Bwindi Forest National Park or a chimpanzee trekking expedition in Kibale National Park. Others could opt for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to Murchison Falls.
